CenterPoint Properties is a leading developer and manager of industrial and commercial real estate. When Quest began its partnership with CenterPoint’s corporate café, the goal was to modernize the coffee program, improve reliability, and enhance the overall dining experience for employees. 

Quest’s approach combined quality ingredients, new technology, and personal service to create an inviting and efficient café that employees look forward to visiting every day. 

The Problem

When the partnership began, CenterPoint’s primary challenge was outdated and inconsistent coffee service. Equipment issues caused interruptions in quality and reliability, and staff needed additional training to maintain service standards. 

Quest identified three key priorities: 

  • Resolve coffee equipment challenges. 
  • Improve consistency and menu variety. 
  • Enhance guest engagement with unique programming and amenities. 

Quest’s Solution

Quest worked closely with the client and vendor partners to ensure all systems and equipment met demand and functioned seamlessly. 

Coffee Program Overhaul 

Quest partnered closely with suppliers to bring in modern coffee equipment and refresh the overall beverage program. The team trained staff on proper operation, maintenance, and daily quality checks to ensure every drink was prepared with care. These improvements elevated product consistency, strengthened service reliability, and enhanced the overall guest experience. After the upgrades, guests enjoyed a more dependable and enjoyable coffee service, resulting in a noticeable increase in satisfaction.

Culinary Enhancements and Events 

To add excitement and variety, Quest introduced a weekly dessert station at 2 p.m., giving employees a mid afternoon pick me up and a chance to connect with colleagues. The café also installed an outdoor smoker, allowing the culinary team to feature new grilled menu items, create seasonal specials, and host patio events that brought fresh energy to the space.

Beverage Innovation 

Quest partnered with Bevi to introduce flavored and sparkling waters infused with vitamins, electrolytes, and protein, giving guests a refreshing alternative to traditional beverages. The team promoted the new offering, guided guests through flavor options, and highlighted wellness benefits to encourage adoption. The Bevi station quickly became one of the most popular amenities in the café, providing a convenient way for guests to stay hydrated while enjoying both flavor and functional benefits.

The upgraded coffee and beverage programs, combined with creative food offerings, have increased participation and strengthened the sense of community within the workplace. Quest continues to collaborate with CenterPoint leadership to ensure cost alignment, employee satisfaction, and ongoing menu innovation.
