Allergen Awareness
Quest recognizes the increasing concern surrounding food allergens and is committed to working closely with schools and families to ensure transparency about the ingredients we use. We have implemented a comprehensive allergen identification system and have taken proactive steps to eliminate the use of nuts in our cooking processes, creating a safer dining experience for all students
Nut-Safe Cooking
In March 2023, Quest implemented a nut-safe cooking process across all K-12 schools, ensuring a safer dining environment for students and staff with nut allergies. This transition was achieved through adaptable programming and close partnerships with our vendors, allowing us to eliminate all nuts, including peanuts, from our recipes and menu planning software. Additionally, all cooking oils used in Quest schools are now nut-safe. This initiative reflects our commitment to addressing the increasing concerns surrounding food allergens and creating a safer, more inclusive environment for everyone we serve.

Menu Alternatives
Quest has adapted to shifting consumer preferences for dairy and meat alternatives in recent years. This includes consistently offering milk alternatives such as almond, oat, soy, and coconut in our cafés and partnering with companies like Beyond Meat™ and Zero-Egg™ to provide plant-based meat and egg substitutes. These options reflect our commitment to allergy awareness and inclusivity, catering to a broader range.
