Local Purchasing & Sustainability

Quest currently purchases from several suppliers who source directly from local farmers in the Midwest. We are very proud to say that we have the resources to meet every request thus far that is related to local seasonal and  sustainable sourcing. We work closely with our vendors to specify what we are looking for and  they in turn, provide us with a wealth of knowledge that educates us and in turn our clients.

EarthAware highlights our efforts to support the local economy by fostering relationships with area farmers and merchants. The EarthAware program also works to minimize our carbon footprint. By purchasing from local growers, we decrease the amount of fossil fuel used in transport, support sustainable agriculture, put resources back into the local economy, and provide the freshest, best tasting food possible for our customers.

We know that sustainability programs are not one size fits all. Therefore, we work with each of our accounts to implement desired sustainability programs that are beneficial to the people, planet, and profit at our locations.

Quest tracks local purchasing with assistance from our vendor partner. We utilize NearBuy, a program from GFS that helps to identify growers and manufactures from within 150-miles of the account we are operating in.
